About This Role

At Labelink, we're looking for a skilled database developer to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in helping us achieve our goal of becoming a leader in label printing solutions for the packaging industry.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Data Management: Manage master data warehouse, including creation, updates, triggers, and deletion.
  2. Reporting and Analysis: Develop reports and preliminary analysis from multiple data sources.
  3. Performance Optimization: Optimize database/Datawarehouse performance by analyzing queries and applying improvements.
  4. Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain management dashboards.
  5. Data Quality: Ensure data integrity through first line quality assurance of imported data and reported data.
  6. Confidential Data Management: Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  7. Reporting Environment Management: Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  8. Business Analysis: Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  9. Data Storage: Provide technical input on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
  10. Business Improvement: Develop software-based automation processes for business improvement.
  11. User Management: Manage dashboard users and user roles.
  12. System Assessment: Assess tests and implement new or upgraded software and assist with strategic decisions on new systems.
  13. Training and Support: Train end users on new reports and dashboards and work directly with the executive management team on all data/reporting and automation initiatives.
  14. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with operational users to understand data and uses.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 6 years' work experience as a data analyst or database administrator/developer in a related field.
  2. Strong Technical Skills: SQL Server and all associated SQL Server tasks, SQL, VBA, VB Script, SharePoint, Power BI, ODBC, SSIS.
  3. Experience in a manufacturing environment, print manufacturing ideal.
  4. Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  5. Interpersonal savvy and proactive attitude.
  6. Able to develop creative problem-solving solutions.
  7. Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
  8. Possess good organization skills.
  9. May be less experienced but willing to learn in: Automation RPA tools, SIMx TextConverter, Visual Studio.
