We are seeking a highly skilled Database Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database systems on Azure cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database migration strategies from on-prem to Azure cloud platforms
- Lead complex troubleshooting and technical issue resolution
- Manage database backups, recovery procedures, and performance tuning
- Develop and implement monitoring strategies for SQL Server in Azure cloud
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in database operations and management
- Expertise in SQL Server 2019, 2017, and 2016 on Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with data migration tools such as Data Migration Assistant and Azure Data Studio
- Strong understanding of database security, compliance, and hardening standards
