Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement major database components to allow Amazon Aurora to scale and perform for the growing customer demands under the project of Aurora Global Database.
- Deliver software features and improvements to major portions of your team's software.
- Work with customers, stakeholders, and peers in order to understand and deliver the right solutions.
- Operational work to solve customer problems and enhance your team's operations.
About You
We are looking for Software Development Engineers who have built a lot of software – shipped products and created control planes, tools and modules. You should be passionate about optimizing the software development experience at a very large scale, using your strong technical skills and motivation to achieve results.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
