Civil Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Team, you will be responsible for coordinating projects, liaising with clients and municipalities, and completing engineering designs and studies.

As a Civil Project Engineer, you will work closely with our Design & Engineering teams to create innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data.
  • Preparing technical reports, such as Functional Servicing Reports and SWM reports.
  • Performing design calculations for Storm, Sanitary, and Water systems.
  • Collaborating with our Geotechnical Engineering team to meet project deliverables.
  • Conducting site visits to collect data and observe project sites.
  • Completing other administrative duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of proven professional experience in civil infrastructure/land development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.
  • A commitment to excellence and high-quality work with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
