Wholesale Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Lucky Supply Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring high-quality merchandise for our wholesale establishment.
Key Responsibilities- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Product Sourcing: Identify and select top-quality products that meet our customers' expectations and align with our business goals.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Financial Management: Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize profitability and minimize costs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior buyers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, supply chain management).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in wholesale buying, procurement, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced wholesale establishment with a dynamic and collaborative team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and travel occasionally.
