Supervisor of Security Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Security Operations to join our team at Canam Security Services.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of security personnel. Key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling work assignments for security personnel;
- Coordinating activities with other departments and units;
- Preparing and submitting progress reports;
- Supervising and training security personnel on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies;
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees;
- Providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth;
- Providing cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers;
- Providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities;
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A valid Security Guard License;
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is approximately $60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
