Aon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Broking and Financial Management team in Western Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting client teams in the servicing of clients with respect to the financial management of their benefit programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the team on various projects, including analysis and negotiation of annual renewals, carrier marketings, experience monitoring, and budget preparation.
  • Provide technical expertise to client teams and analysts in respect to the work being completed.
  • Develop and implement solutions for complex client/business issues.
  • Lead projects and client team members, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Requirements:
  • Minimum eight (8) years of direct group benefits experience in consulting or underwriting environment.
  • Valid group insurance license – multi-jurisdictional is an asset.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop solutions for complex client/business issues.
  • Proven organization skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate the delivery of projects and advisory services.
  • Strong technical expertise, with the ability to remain current with respect to industry trends, provincial and federal legislative policies, and changes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both verbally and written.
