Clinical Nurse Specialist, BC Cancer Prince George

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at BC Cancer Prince George. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced nurse to take on a leadership role in advancing cancer care in our region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced level nursing expertise and clinical support to a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Act as a resource and consultant provincially to Senior Leadership and multi-disciplinary teams on cancer nursing best practices.
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of new nursing programming at the provincial level within BC Cancer.
- Conduct and/or facilitate cancer nursing research to identify and incorporate best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing plus current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
- 5-7 years of recent related experience working in a healthcare setting with a focus in cancer care and in a progressive leadership role.
- Certification in oncology nursing (or must obtain certification within one year of employment).

Salary and Location
The salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate's relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. The position is located at 1215 Lethbridge Street, Prince George, BC V2M 7E9.
