Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our provincial team, you will play a critical role in advancing health equity and delivering high-quality, specialized cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced level nursing expertise and clinical support to a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Act as a resource and consultant provincially to Senior Leadership and multi-disciplinary teams, providing evidenced-based guidance on best practices in cancer nursing.
- Lead the strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of new nursing programming at the provincial level within BC Cancer.
- Conduct and/or facilitate cancer nursing research to identify and incorporate best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing, plus current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
- 5-7 years of recent related experience working in a healthcare setting with a focus in cancer care and in a progressive leadership role.
- Certification in oncology nursing (or must obtain certification within one year of employment).

Salary and Location
The salary for this position will be determined based on the successful candidate's relevant education and experience, and will be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. The position is located in Prince George, BC.
