Job Description

Egis Canada is seeking a highly skilled Site Testing Coordinator - Building Construction to join our team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to coordinate and perform on-site window, guard rail systems, and membrane testing for new construction and existing buildings.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform on-site testing of building components, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Review and stay up-to-date with industry testing standards and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to the team in preparing test reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain inventory of testing equipment, coordinating scheduled maintenance and calibration as required.
  • Report daily updates on ongoing testing schedules for all projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and report meaningful performance data for various investigations.
  • Drive to various site locations using own or company vehicle.
  • Actively participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, such as Building/Construction Technology, or a construction-related discipline.
  • Experience with field or lab testing of window and railing systems would be considered an asset.
  • Health & Safety training requirements in construction projects would be considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy equipment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a comprehensive pension plan.
