Main Responsibilities:

As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee the successful execution of projects by effectively interpreting blueprints and plans. You will lead and coordinate a team, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring junior staff adhere to safety standards and project specifications. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will regularly interface with managers to report progress, address issues, and implement directives. Your ability to mentor and guide team members, combined with your technical expertise, will be vital in achieving project goals efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Site Supervisor to manage a variety of construction projects in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. A good candidate must be able to perform strenuous physical tasks, such as loading and unloading building materials and tools, and operate machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles and be able to communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure staff and sub-trades comply with project requirements
- Adhere to health and safety protocols
- Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders via phone, email, and cloud platforms
- Schedule trades and phases of work
- Document site conditions and daily progress
- Think ahead to next steps and catch issues before they arise
- Interact with staff, homeowners, clients, sub-trades, product reps, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

- Experience in construction, residential, and commercial
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks
- Willingness to learn and receive additional training as needed
