At GUAC MEXI GRILL, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring efficient inventory management
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure success
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless kitchen operations
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to lift and move heavy objects
