Job Summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a highly skilled Teller II to support our branches in Colorado. As a Teller II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and developing strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of teller transactions, including deposits, loan payments, and cash advances.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by recognizing referral opportunities for additional banking products and services.
  • Mentor and train Teller I employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Follow all bank regulations and policies, including those related to check and cash handling standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and complete all required training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of experience in banking, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process transactions and maintain accurate records.
