Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate laboratory apparatus: Ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Assist in setup and conduct of chemical experiments: Collaborate with scientists and researchers to design and execute experiments.
  • Compile records for analytical studies: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results.
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis: Contribute to the development of sampling and analysis protocols to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in design and fabrication of experimental apparatus: Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and build experimental equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Support for persons with disabilities: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offers mentorship programs.
