GS1 Canada is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in translating and documenting our GS1 solutions offerings, helping to consolidate various streams of data and information from throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Mapping and Analysis: Conduct process and systems mapping from an external and internal perspective to identify areas for improvement.
  • Documenting Business Processes: Document business processes and rules in a user perspective, identifying gaps and making recommendations for process optimization.
  • Data Flow Mapping: Own capturing the data flow mapping across various business and system processes, interpreting the value offerings and validations.
  • Information Management: Collect, organize, and maintain information from various sources throughout the organization, delivering regular status updates regarding progress within various project assignments.
  • System and Technology Interpretation: Interpret system and technology processes, documenting the findings.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and manage reports to identify trends and opportunities within key business areas, conducting industry research and communicating findings to leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a conduit between the Business Data and Architecture team and other key stakeholders in the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or Engineering.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and deduction skills, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, and exceptional documentation and presentation skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of Retail and/or Manufacturing industry, as well as supply chain technologies and emerging trends, would be an advantage.
