Job Title: Strategic Development Program Trainee

About the Role:

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee at EMCO Corporation, you will embark on a comprehensive 5-phase program designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge of our business operations. From shipping and receiving to sales, operations, purchasing, account management, and beyond, you will gain a thorough understanding of our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics
    • Learn about our products, their journey from vendors to customers, and sales support.
  • Phase 2: Operations
    • Get involved in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory, pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.
  • Phase 3: Inside Sales/Project Management
    • Transition from customer support to managing large-scale projects.
  • Phase 4: Outside Sales/Account Management
    • Develop skills to find new business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.
  • Phase 5: Career Development
    • Determine your ideal career path based on your training and experience.

Requirements:

  • College and/or University degree
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills for building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
