We are seeking a skilled Office Furniture Installer to join our team at B.C. Murphy Wall Bed Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing interior prefabricated products, reading blueprints and specifications, and repairing and servicing interior prefabricated products.

Responsibilities:
  • Install interior prefabricated products, including furniture and fixtures, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Repair and service interior prefabricated products, including furniture and fixtures, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures for interior prefabricated products.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools and equipment.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to install and repair interior prefabricated products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in furniture installation and repair is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of skilled professionals. The work will involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working at heights.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The work term is permanent, and the hours of work are 30 hours per week.
