B.C. Murphy wall bed ltd. is seeking a skilled Office Furniture Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Office Furniture Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing interior prefabricated products, reading blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements, and repairing and servicing interior prefabricated products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install interior prefabricated products, including furniture and fixtures, to meet customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Repair and service interior prefabricated products, including furniture and fixtures, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools and equipment, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and sanders, to install and repair interior prefabricated products.

Work Environment:

  • Work will be performed in a warehouse or office setting, with occasional travel to customer sites.
  • Public transportation is available.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in furniture installation and repair is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
