Job Title: Office Furniture Installer

We are seeking a skilled Office Furniture Installer to join our team at B.C. Murphy Wall Bed Ltd. in Vancouver, BC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing interior prefabricated products, reading blueprints and specifications, and utilizing hand and power tools to prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install interior prefabricated products, including furniture and fixtures, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including cutting, drilling, and assembling furniture components.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete installations and meet deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of quality in all installations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in furniture installation or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture components.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
