Financial Services Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Advisor to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our high-value personal and small business clients. Your primary goal will be to provide proactive, professional advice and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their financial goals and navigate key life events.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients' financial needs and goals, providing tailored advice and solutions to meet their objectives.
- Collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking to ensure clients receive comprehensive and expert advice.
- Leverage technology to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive sales and retention.
- Proactively identify and resolve client banking issues, taking ownership of resolving and preventing problems.
- Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies to support new client acquisition in local communities.
- Educate clients on the features and benefits of RBC products and services, including digital banking capabilities.
- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
- Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
- Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
