Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Services Professional to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing personalized financial advice and solutions, and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
    • Provide tailored financial advice and solutions to clients, including investment, lending, and estate planning.
    • Cultivate new business opportunities and referrals through networking and relationship-building.
  • Business Development
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
    • Develop and implement sales plans to convert leads into new clients and increase revenue.
    • Utilize CIBC's wide range of financial products and services to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Community Involvement
    • Participate in local community events and activities to promote CIBC's brand and build relationships with potential clients.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with local business leaders and organizations to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in financial services, including providing financial advice and solutions to clients.
  • Skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide tailored advice and solutions.
    • Strong business development and sales skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Certifications
    • Current accreditation and good standing for CIRO-ID licensing requirements.
    • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) written within the past 3 years.
    • Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME), Personal Financial Planner (PFP) within 24 months of hire.
