Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Select Landscaping and Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to meet project demands.
  • Organize and plan the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, considering factors such as soil quality, climate, and aesthetics.
  • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
  • Schedule work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet deadlines.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and extending its lifespan.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
