- Organize and set priorities.

- Promote/maintain a safe work environment.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Competence in relevant technical nursing skills and a willingness to learn new skills as required.
- Demonstrated ongoing responsibility for maintaining own continuing competence through professional development activities.
- Ability to work shift work.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and personal attributes may be considered.
- Current NRP certification.
- Recent Level 2 NICU experience.
- Charge Nurse experience.
