Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sakura Sushi, Japanese Grocery & Restaurant. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing staff and ensuring exceptional customer service.

About the Role:
  • Serve as a lead member of our food service team, overseeing daily operations and supporting staff in their duties.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of quality control, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food service industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with staff and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving conflicts and addressing concerns.
