Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of services, including compensation management, policy administration, and employee relations support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation Management: Manage and supervise complex performance management issues, including corrective behavior consultation and terminations, and be a focal point for workplace investigations from initiation to resolution.
  • Policy Administration: Support change management initiatives, create and facilitate HR training programs, and participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide front-line HR consultation on all HR-related matters, including interpretation of HR policies, and offer proactive advice and recommendations.
  • HR Team Support: Support other members of the HR team in backup capacities, including management of all compensation requirements, such as coordination of the annual merit and incentive programs.
Requirements
  • Education: A university degree in Business, Commerce, or Human Resources is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight years of human resources work experience in a generalist function, with prior experience in compensation management and employee relations.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to continuous professional development, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
