Gibbons Motor Toys is a marine and power sports dealership headquartered in Gibbons, Alberta with a second location in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. We retail and service Can-Am offroad vehicles, Ski-Doo snowmobiles, KingFisher, Coyote, and Stabicraft boats, Mercury engines and more. We stock a large variety of parts, accessories, and riding gear for all your outdoor needs. With over 40 years of experience, our sales, parts and service departments provide the best knowledge in the industry
**Job Title**: Marketing Manager (Gibbons, AB)
**Start Date**: Immediately
**Status**:Full-time
**Compensation**: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

The Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for creating in-depth marketing strategies that align with organizational goals and help to achieve revenue targets of every department. They will plan and manage events, both industry-wide and specific to Gibbons Motor Toys. They will oversee all responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator including the development of website content, social media campaigns, and all online publications and external communication. The Marketing Manager will also collect and analyze data on markets, competitors, and consumers to guide them through developing their marketing strategies and budgets and support their recommendations to Senior Management.
The Marketing Manager will have a creative mindset that can capture audiences and help to grow our client base and contribute to our overall customer experience. A post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing or a similar field is mandatory in this role.

Key Responsibilities
**Planning and Business Development**
- Build methods and strategies to generate quality leads
- Design an annual marketing plan that delivers various marketing initiatives through innovative forward-thinking creativity
- Coordinate and plan all promotional and marketing events including boat shows
- Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and create innovative marketing and branding strategies that drive customer interest and increase Gibbons Motor Toys’ presence in the market
- Spearhead the execution of all marketing campaigns and promotions to continuously grow client base and maintain return customers
- Develop and implement ways to motivate employees to garner customer reviews and feedback
- Continuously meet with Senior Management and Sales team to review program effectiveness, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions
- Oversee the management of donation requests to ensure high value community involvement
**Budgeting Reporting and Analytics**
- Prepare budget from the marketing plan and present to Senior Management for approval
- Review actual marketing costs to approved budget and report variances quarterly
- Report performance of initiatives and any changes in forecasted goals and objectives
- Manage CRM to maximize information collection; data mining to analyze information
- Study and report on all platform dashboards and analytics; use these tools to improve performance and achieve objectives
- Implement measurement tools to report return on investment of all initiatives
- Collect, analyze, and report data on markets, competitors, and consumers
- Following attendance at events, provide post-event reports and analysis
- Monitor and track all Google reviews and manufacturer CSI’s

**Work Schedule and Benefits**
- Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm (or as agreed with Management for a 40 hr work week)
- Must display reliable attendance and schedule time-off with advance notice

**Requirements**:
**Educational and experience requirements include**:
- Diploma or other certification in Marketing Communication or a similar field
- 7+ years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee implementation of strategic and operational marketing initiatives
- Strong understanding of SEM and SEO principles and the ability to excel in their strategy and management
- Proven ability to maintain high productivity and organization to consistently meet deadlinesr
- Excellent analytics and database management and mining skills
