About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Agave by Imperial. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
