Liquor Sales Associate

Otter Co-op is now hiring for a full-time Liquor Sales Associate at our Angry Otter Liquor store located in Kelowna, BC.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
- Processing register transactions, refunds, and returns, and activating gift cards.
- Ensuring the register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures.
- Stocking, facing, and rotating products on the shelves.
- Receiving, checking, and putting away deliveries.
- Keeping the store and storage areas clean and organized.
- Utilizing product knowledge to promote sales.
- Contribution to the Team living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Liquor retail experience is preferred.
- Serving It Right license is required.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and quick learning.
- Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and stand for full 8-hour shifts.
- Commitment to a SAFE working environment.
- MUST be over 19 years of age.
- MUST have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts.
