Liquor Store Associate Position

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Liquor Store Associate to join our team at Otter Co-op. As a Liquor Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, and activate gift cards
- Ensure the register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
- Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
- Receive, check, and put away deliveries
- Keep the store and storage areas clean and organized
- Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
- Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
Requirements:
- Liquor retail experience is preferred
- Serving it Right license is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving and quick-learning abilities
- Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full 8-hour shifts
- Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be over 19 years of age to be considered
- Must have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
