Job Summary

SRR Transport is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
