Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at SRR TRANSPORT. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate inventory and minimizing damage.
- Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
- Pre-Trip, En-Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely updates and efficient communication.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver is an asset.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
