Long Haul Truck Driver

SRR TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Logistics: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, using GPS and other navigation equipment to optimize routes and delivery times.
- Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and have a clean driving record.
- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in long-haul truck driving.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
