Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilled Cost Consultant to join our team in Toronto. As a Cost Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the real estate sector by providing expert cost management services.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare loan monitoring reports to ensure accurate and timely delivery of information to clients.
- Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Conduct research on construction market conditions in Canada, including analysis of official published data, to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Assist in developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients, working closely with Senior Consultants and Associate Directors.
- Ensure knowledge management by inputting key information and learning generated from each commission into internal databases and sharing with the team.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in ISO audits.
- Assist in feasibility studies and write procurement reports to support clients in making informed decisions.
- Contribute to value engineering and life cycle costing initiatives to optimize project outcomes.
- Work closely with commission managers to ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in loan monitoring/lender services.
- A recognized university degree.
- Membership in relevant professional organizations, such as CIQS or RICS, is a bonus.
