Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at Western Forest Products. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Mechanical Assembly
    • Assemble mechanical equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Troubleshooting
    • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement
    • Repair or replace defective machinery parts to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience
    • Other trades certificate or diploma in a relevant field.
    • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
