Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will provide non-certified assistant duties to dentists and certified dental assistants, ensuring high-quality care for patients. Your responsibilities will include providing chairside assistance, performing dental procedures, and supporting administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance to dentists and certified dental assistants
Perform dental procedures and related administrative tasks
Ensure the disinfection and sterilization of dental equipment and instrumentation
Maintain infection prevention and control standards
Requirements
Grade 12
Recent related experience in a dental office or knowledge of dental programs and instrumentation
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to deal with others effectively
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
