Nurse Aide

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team at Assa Enterprises Inc. as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic nursing care, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including transferring, lifting, and positioning.
- Deliver meals and snacks to patients, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in patient education and support, promoting independence and self-care.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Work under pressure to meet patient needs and deadlines.
- Repetitive tasks and physical demands, including standing for extended periods.
