About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lead Banking Product Manager to join our team at BMO Financial Group. This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in banking product management, technical development, and leadership.

Job Description

The Lead Banking Product Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a suite of banking products throughout their lifecycle. This includes developing business cases, strategic roadmaps, and project plans to deliver on business and financial goals.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of banking product fundamentals, including product design, functionality, and related policies and procedures. They will also have experience with consumer/commercial credit applicable to retail and business financing products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage a single product or suite of products throughout their lifecycle
  • Develop business cases and strategic roadmaps for banking products and services
  • Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals
  • Analyze customer/consumer insights and channel data to identify strengths and gaps
  • Participate in and evaluate market research and competitive analysis associated with assigned products

Requirements

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in Business or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong experience working with retail and business product fundamentals, including product design, functionality, and related policies and procedures
  • In-depth risk management associated with new and existing product development and management
  • Strong knowledge of process coordination and management
  • Strong knowledge of banking product management and associated industry and regulatory requirements

About Us

BMO Financial Group offers a total compensation package that varies based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. We also offer health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
