About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Hiring food service staff and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Preparing and submitting reports, as well as establishing work schedules.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They must also be physically demanding, standing for extended periods and walking frequently.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is approximately $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer group insurance benefits and support for newcomers and refugees.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in food service management.
