Brandt Developments is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Lead to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our Civil Design Team, you will be responsible for leading the design and approval of Civil Engineering works, preparing reports, estimates, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and approval of Civil Engineering works, including grading, storm water management, underground utilities, and surface improvements.
  • Prepare and review technical details, engineering specifications, and design plans.
  • Collaborate with the Civil Design Team to ensure project success.
  • Provide internal landscaping advice or coordinate with external landscape architects as sub-consultants.
  • Review and investigate preliminary civil layout and engineering options during the development planning process.
  • Coordinate sub-consultants for planning, legal survey, geotechnical, and consultant services.
  • Prepare cost estimates, tender contract documents, and engineering reports.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and contractors.
  • Perform project cost monitoring and schedule control.
  • Provide feedback and advice regarding the technical and civil aspects of a project.
  • Complete site inspections during the construction phase.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD & Civil 3D software.
  • 5+ years' experience in a Consulting Office.
  • Civil Engineering degree.
  • Licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan.
  • Site surveying knowledge and experience is an asset.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm, and driven to succeed in a positive environment.
