Food Service Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Food Service Manager to join our team at Samsoonie Noodle & Rice. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in food service management to take on a leadership role and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan and implement menus that meet customer demands and maximize profitability.
- Cost Control: Manage food costs, labor expenses, and inventory levels to maintain high-quality standards while minimizing waste.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff, ensure efficient food preparation, and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotions and advertisements that drive sales and increase brand awareness.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in food service management, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong work ethic and ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
