Food Service Manager

GALIANO is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure optimal food preparation and minimize waste.
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that food and service meet customer expectations.
- Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock levels, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless food delivery.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Establish and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to meet customer demands.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
