Job Title: Truck Drivers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at MAVI TRANSPORT LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers, ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve work methods, productivity, and product quality.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to drivers on safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling.
  • Train and develop drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including vehicle maintenance, cargo loading, and driver assignments.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the trucking industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. The role requires frequent communication with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and make sound decisions in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
