Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At Danube Trucking Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel cross-border, internationally, and for extended periods
Working Conditions:
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
  • Cellular phone and steel-toed safety boots
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 60 hours per week
