Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked at all times.
    • Work with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced kitchen environment with hot temperatures and odors.
  • Physical Demands
    • Standing for extended periods and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
