About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a Community Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering rehabilitation services to clients in their homes and communities.



Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor rehab assistants to ensure high-quality care
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote access to rehabilitation services


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A current membership with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) or eligibility for registration
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Experience working with standardized assessments and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bonus: experience working with insurance payers
