Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Coating Specialist to join our team at Midwest Coatings. As an Industrial Coating Specialist, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various metal products using a range of techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply protective and decorative coatings to metal products using hand-held spray guns and other equipment
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
  • Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
  • Clean and maintain equipment, work area, and inventory
  • Operate sandblasters and water blasting equipment for surface preparation
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in industrial coating or related field
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
