We are seeking a Strategic Growth Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our global IT M&A client, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and strategy development.

Job Description:

In this exciting full-time opportunity, you will collaborate with senior leadership team members across various departments, including Finance, M&A, and portfolio teams. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research and analysis to formulate strategy recommendations
  • Analyzing and synthesizing key insights from diverse data sources to drive strategy and inform decision-making
  • Promoting thought leadership by developing reusable data assets
  • Supporting leaders in strategic planning and long-term business strategy development
  • Collaborating across departments for in-depth research and analysis
  • Assessing organic growth opportunities and contributing to fostering a culture of innovation
  • Undertaking special projects as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Philosophy, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a similar analytical role, with a background in the software industry being advantageous
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to derive and deliver key insights from data
  • High-level competency in data visualization tools (Power BI is a plus) and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for effective reporting
  • Sound knowledge of business financials and operations
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level
  • Skilled in synthesizing trends and consolidating findings into meaningful, visually appealing formats for presentations to executives
  • Excellent project management skills, communication abilities, and a self-starter attitude
  • High curiosity, passion for continuous learning, and creative problem-solving
