About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Apparatus Project Leader to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution Lines team, you will be responsible for leading electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design high- and medium-voltage electrical substations
  • Prepare lists of materials and bills of materials, installation specifications and layout drawings in accordance with Hydro-Québec standards
  • Perform or check calculations to size equipment and select appropriate power cable gauges
  • Participate in site surveys
  • Ensure coordination with managers from other disciplines
Requirements
  • University degree in engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • More than five years of experience in electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec
  • Very good knowledge of specialized software such as MPI, MCT, CPI, and Logesdes
  • Knowledge of Hydro-Québec standards (GT, SN, TET, etc.)
