Job Title: Environmental Permitting Specialist

About the Role:

Hatfield Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Permitting Specialist to join our Water Resource Group. As an Environmental Permitting Specialist, you will provide expert advice on local, provincial, and federal environmental requirements, and help our clients identify and meet provincial requirements for their mining and water-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide advice on environmental regulations, policies, and guidelines
* Lead, coordinate, and integrate information from multidisciplinary technical teams
* Review materials for adequacy with respect to regulatory submissions
* Support meetings and presentations with clients and regulators
* Author and compile content for reports and regulatory documents

Requirements:

* Undergraduate degree or higher in an environmental field
* Professional registration or eligibility for a relevant professional designation
* Minimum 5 years of experience in permitting and regulatory compliance
* Experience in project management, multidisciplinary projects, and environmental impact assessment
