Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and develop new markets by assessing the territory/market potential, tracking sales and status reports.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Troubleshoot customer drilling issues.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within a schedule.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and promotional trends.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and/or management.
  • Attend trade shows and business development functions with approval from your manager.
  • Travel 80% of the time to see new or current clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative in the field of Horizontal Directional Drilling process and tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
